Northern Exposure

Background
Northern Exposure is an online provider of soccer tickets and accommodation packages for English Spanish, Italian and other European Soccer clubs. www.northernexpo.co.uk was not delivering enough enquires so JumpHigher was recruited to help increase business from the website.

Solution
Over the 3 year relationship with Northern Exposure, JumpHigher have employed several different techniques. Year 1 was a simple SEO program; promoting key pages on the site to increase traffic. From traffic analysis of these results showed that the majority of the clients came from overseas. Optimising the site for foreign search engines was the next challenge. In year 2, JumpHigher translated and optimised the sites content into 3 foreign languages.

Results
Year 1 saw a dramatic improvement in the business from UK customer and after revising the technique for the second year -

  • 40% are UK visitors
  • 30% from Norway,
  • 15% from Sweden,
  • 10% from Finland,
  • 5% from other areas of the globe.
